A former member of Onchan Commissioners has hit out at what he describes as a ‘toxic atmosphere’ in the boadroom.
The authority’s clerk is currently ‘absent from office’ and thousands have been spent on legal fees battling one of its own members.
James Cherry resigned from the authority in 2019, citing personal attacks as one of the reasons for standing down:
