Former mayor unsure if he'll re-stand for Douglas North in 2016

The second place candidate in the Douglas North By-Election has said he's unsure whether he will re-stand in sixteen months time.

Councillor David Ashford was 50 votes off the victor Ralph Peake who is set to be sworn in along with the new Douglas South member Bill Malarkey in Tuesday's House of Keys sitting.
 
The former mayor said he was enthused to stand in the first place as he wanted to represent the people that felt government have not been listening to the public.
 
He said time will tell as to whether he stands in September 2016:
