The development director of St John's United has expressed his frustration after the club was denied the chance to play at this summer's Island Games.
The westerners were refused by games organisers because of complications relating to the fact the official football team wasn't travelling to Bermuda.
There was also strong opposition from some other football clubs who believed St John's had no right to compete on behalf of Manx football.
Malcolm Blackburn says he accepts the decision but the club did nothing wrong throughout the application process:
