Firefighters were called to a house in Ramsey at the weekend.
Crews from Ramsey, Laxey and Douglas were alerted at 12.45pm on Saturday to reports of a kitchen fire.
They went to an address on Marine Gardens in Ramsey and found food had been left under a grill, causing minor smoke-logging
The Fire and Rescue Service took around 20 minutes to deal with the incident.
