The long-standing folk life gallery at the Manx Museum will close next month.
Manx National Heritage has confirmed the news as preparations are underway for a new TT and motorsport exhibition at the centre on Kingswood Grove.
The organisation says the gallery will close from Monday, January 6, 2020, so work can take place safely - a UK-based expert is being brought in as part of the efforts to securely dismantle the feature.
It's currently hoped the new TT exhibit will be completed by the end of 2021.
