Taxing electric vehicles as a work perk could raise £168,000 according to a Treasury study.
A Freedom of Information request asked for details about a law change over taxing cars as benefits in kind.
Out of 15 documents, the Treasury released just one - which considered taxing electric vehicles in 2023.
That said scrapping the zero-rate of tax for company EVs would raise up to £168,000.
