Infrastructure Minister David Cretney has expressed sadness and concern over Flybe’s decision to withdraw from their Isle of Man base.
They will be pulling out at the end of March 2014, with 49 local jobs set to be lost.
Minister Cretney says his department will work with all affected staff to help them find alternative employment on the Island.
Flybe have expressed that they remain fully committed to services to the Isle of Man and are trying to reassure passengers that they can continue to book with confidence.
