Laxey's historic flour mill has applied to replace windows and doors.
Laxey Glen Mills on Mill Road says it wants to put in like for like replacements, and has applied for planning permission and registered building consent.
In its application, the company says a number of window frames in the building are rotten, raising health and safety and food accreditation issues.
The company says the replacement doors would be timber and painted to match the rest of the building.
