Members of the public have been warned to expect localised flooding today as the Island is hit by heavy rain.
Severe weather warnings are in place across the UK warning of torrential downpours in the North West.
Strong winds are also forecast – although these are unlikely to cause any significant problems.
Forecaster at Ronaldsway Met Office Andy Roberts says the Island will experience a particularly bad wet spell:
