Work has begun on an underground storage system to reduce flood water risks in an area of Douglas.
Manx Utilities is creating a water storage tank at the Old Noble's Hospital car park to manage water flow on Peel Road and Hills Meadow Industrial Estate.
Its chairman, MHK Dr Alex Allinson, says he's pleased at how the project is progressing.
The work is expected to be completed in May next year.
