It's been confirmed no one was hurt following a fire in a flat in Douglas on Saturday night.
Fire crews attended the incident at Spectrum Apartments on the promenade just before 9pm.
The blaze was contained to the top floor and occupants of the building took refuge in the nearby Empress Hotel.
Douglas Promenade was closed for a short time while fire crews set up special appliances and emergency water supplies.
Emergency services were on the scene for three hours. The cause of the fire is still unknown.
