Three fire engines from Douglas attended a fire yesterday evening which started in a block of flats.
Crews attended the property on Stanley View at 5.20pm to reports of a chip pan fire.
Everyone in the affected property had safely vacated however firefighters used an aerial ladder platform to ensure the other occupants of the building were also safe.
No one was injured in the incident although the affected flat was extensively damaged by smoke forcing the occupants to find alternative accommodation.
