Officers in the North of the Island say several arrests were made at the weekend in what was described as a 'busy weekend' for Police.
The Northern Neighbourhood Policing Team say five people were detained in the North for a number of offences ranging from burglary to common assault.
Taking to social media to give an update, authorities said on the whole most people were well behaved but unfortunately a select few spent a night in the cells.
Teams in the north are also thanking colleagues from Douglas and in the West for their assistance.
