A fisherman has appeared in court in connection with a huge cannabis seizure made by police last weekend.
Liam Lewis of Clenagh Road in Sulby appeared before High Bailiff Jayne Hughes at Douglas Courthouse.
The 26 year old is charged with producing and supplying 15.5 kilos of cannabis and 98 THC vapes worth a total of £313,000 seized at Battery Pier in Douglas on November 17.
No pleas have yet been entered, and he was bailed in the sum of £500 on condition he doesn't contact witnesses in the case, reports to police daily and observes a 10pm to 7am curfew.
He'll appear in court again on December 5.
