An increase in trout and salmon populations in Manx rivers means plenty of opportunities for river anglers.
The severe floods of December 2015 had a devastating impact on the number of salmon hatching last year.
Minister for Environment, Food and Agriculture Geoffrey Boot says anglers are still encouraged to release the fish they catch to help conserve stocks.
