First-time buyers can't get more money from the government to buy homes in case they put up Island property prices.
That's the message from Infrastructure Minister Ray Harmer who faced questions in the House of Keys about the issue this week.
North Douglas MHK David Ashford asked if he'd raise the maximum house price covered by the Shared Equity Purchase Assistance Scheme.
Mr Harmer said he had no plans to offer more help:
