First new hotel for Island in years opens in Ramsey

The Ramsey Park Hotel is situated next to the Mooragh Park and represents the first hotel build on the Isle of Man in a long time.

Although official grading is yet to take place it’s anticipated it will fall into the three star bracket, with 30 bedrooms and a 50 seater restaurant.

The man responsible for getting the facility off the ground is local entrepreneur Trevor Hemmings.

We caught up with hotel manager Steve Dawson, who says the initial response to the hotel bodes very well for bookings:
