The first Isle of Man-based member of the British armed forces to take advantage of a new travel support offer travelled back to the Island on Saturday.
Jason Davies flew with Manx2 from Newcastle as part of the airline’s new initiative.
Manx2 has offered travel support for Manx-based servicemen, whose travel warrants are due to be withdrawn in the near future.
The airline’s support is part of its work with the Royal British Legion IoM.
As the Legion has been unable to access any details of serving personnel in the Island they are appealing directly to Manx-based personnel to get in touch.
