The Fire and Rescue Service has issued safety advice as fireworks go on sale today.
Legally, businesses can only sell fireworks from now until November 5 before having to put them away until Boxing Day.
Firefighters say you should always follow the instructions carefully and dispose of them properly.
The service is also urging you to let neighbours know if you'll be letting off fireworks at home.
