The 10-day window to let off fireworks for bonfire night cut be cut back by Tynwald later this month.
When the court sits, it'll consider a report from a select committee looking into the 2004 Fireworks Act.
In its recommendations, the committee says the legal dates for displays should be reduced to a single week each year from November 2 to 8.
For any other date, organisers would have to seek permission.
