The Island's fire service is warning again of the effects garden bonfires can have on nearby residents.
Teams from Douglas and Peel were called out to their respective areas on Sunday afternoon to investigate smoke issuing into the sky, on both occasions they turned out to be burns taking place in people's gardens.
As a result, firefighters are urging people to think of the potential impact burning rubbish can have on neighbours particularly when most people are staying at home and/or having to self-isolate.
They add to consider whether burning waste really has to be done now or if it can wait for a more appropriate time.
