40 firefighters spent more than seven hours tackling a huge fire in the west of the Island at the weekend.
Peel fire crews were called to a blaze in Dalby just before 6pm on Saturday - because of the location's difficult access and poor water supplies, five off-road specialist vehicles were required at the scene.
A total of forty firefighters spent over seven hours trying to tackle the blaze, working into the early hours of the morning to extinguish the flames and prevent it from spreading.
The fire service says the cause was a disposable BBQ, and is urging people to refrain from having open fires or barbeques during this hot and dry period.
