The fire and rescue service dealt with a flat fire in Castletown earlier this afternoon
It happened around 1pm today, Friday, April 3.
On arrival firefighters found smoke coming from a window of the building, with the fire contained to the lounge.
The emergency service says it's a reminder to have working smoke alarms on each floor of your home.
