The Island's fire and rescue service says it's been called out to two boiler fires this morning.
The first saw an oil boiler catch light because of a short-circuit caused by a water leak at a house in Marashen Crescent in Port Erin.
Douglas firefighters were called to a house in Woodbourne Road a short time later when a boiler failed and filled the property with smoke.
Nobody was hurt in either incident, and the fire service says people should have their boilers serviced regularly.
