Firefighters spent around an hour at Laxey Flour Mills this morning.
Crews from Laxey and Douglas were sent to the site on Mill Road just after 8am.
They discovered a smouldering blaze in a building behind the mill itself.
They put out the fire and used specialist equipment to clear the building of smoke.
