The Fire and Rescue Service has released some top tips for staying safe on Pancake day.
It says never leave hobs unattended and keep flammable items away from flames.
Firefighters also say using non-stick pans and avoiding overcrowding them can prevent spills and splatters.
The service adds it wants to make this Pancake day safe, fun and full of flipping success.
