Fire crews from Douglas were called into action yesterday after a tractor caught fire at Sulby Farm.
It happened in a field on Scollag Road near Abbeylands just after 1pm.
Using a high pressure water jet firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze in under an hour.
No one was injured in the incident however the tractor was severely damaged.
It’s thought an electrical problem involving the battery box was to blame.
