Do you think you could become a key part of the Island's firefighting crews?
Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service says it's now recruiting and will be inviting applications for aspiring firefighters from next Tuesday (October 1).
Crews are encouraging prospective candidates to join 'come and try it' sessions at Douglas Fire Station on Tuesday, October 1, and on Thursday, October 17 involving key elements of the entry process including a bleep test, hose reeling and breathing apparatus.
The 30-minute sessions will take place between 6.15pm and 8pm on those days - more details are available on the fire service's Facebook page.
