Today at 12.30pm the fire crews were called to a blaze in an industrial unit on the White Hoe Industrial estate.
Upon arrival they discovered the blaze was isolated to the roof of a commercial garage.
Two fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus tended to the fire with two hose reels, extinguishing it swiftly.
Damage was contained to a small part of the roof, aswell as scorching to an adjacent wall.
