Ice Leads To Numerous RTCs Over Past 24 Hours
There have been a number of road traffic collisions around the Island over the past 24 hours due to the severely icy roads.
So far there have been no reported serious injuries but conditions are said to be treacherous with numerous road closures in place.
The Mountain Road remains closed as does the Tholt Y Will, Druidale, East Baldwin, Rushen Abbey Road, Injebreck and Brandywell Road and the roundtable.
The emergency services have been out to RTC’s at Kewaigue Hill, the 11th milestone and West Kimmeragh Road in Bride.
Fire Safety Officer Carl Kinvig said it's been a very period for the fire crews across the Island.
