Plans have been submitted to turn the old fire station in Castletown into a craft brewery and community space.
Proposals have been put forward for the building on Farrants way, to make alterations nd remove a wall at the car park area for better access.
In the application, there are proposals for a nano brewery to be based in the former lecture room to produce around 200 litres of craft beer per brew.
It added the community room of the location could help 'foster a culture of collaboration' with the likes of small businesses and the arts community by being available for pop up events.
