The Island's Fire Service has issued a warning, following two fires over a matter of days.
On Tuesday, firefighters spent around two hours tackling a 100-metre long hedge fire in the Abbeylands area after strong winds caused a controlled burn to spread.
It comes following Emergency Services dealing with a separate gorse fire in Maughold on Easter Sunday, caused by a disposable barbecue.
In a post on social media, crews say although rain is due over the next few days, ground is very dry and a slight breeze can cause fires to spread very quickly.
It's reminding the public as an island resources are limited, and to act responsibly.
