As we move into autumn, the Fire Service is urging people to have their chimneys swept.
It comes as those with solid fuel stoves, log burners and open fires will soon be lighting them as the weather gets colder.
The service is also expecting a rise in the number of chimney fires, as the price of energy soars.
As a result, those who haven't already had their chimney swept this year are being urged to book an appointment.
It adds it's important to only use properly seasoned logs and smokeless fuel, and dispose of ash safely after it's cooled down.
