Firefighters are urging people to be careful in the countryside as the hot weather continues.
The Fire and Rescue Service says Peel crews were called to a small fire caused by a disposable barbecue which spread to nearby trees and vegetation.
On social media, the service says people shouldn't light fires or barbecues in rural areas.
The plea comes after a hedgerow fire in the West of the Island was started by a discarded cigarette at the weekend.
