The Island’s Fire Service has issued some safety advice following two people becoming lost near Snaefell yesterday.
A search team were deployed at around 4pm to work with the Police and the Civil Defence to look for a couple who may have been lost in the area.
The two people of interest were eventually found safe and well, and after 3 hours of searching teams decided to stand down.
The Fire Service is reminding the public to have the correct clothing and footwear for the outdoors and conditions, and tell someone where you’re going.
It’s added to always carry your mobile phone and always check the weather conditions beforehand.
