The Fire Service has installed 160 smoke detectors into the homes of some of the Island's most vulnerable people.
The service has partnered up with Tower Insurance as they work to protect the Manx community.
Firefighters carry out free home safety visits and have thanked Tower Insurance for the detectors, which were fitted where necessary.
During a home safety visit, firefighters will look at areas of potential risk within the home, provide advice on the maintenance of smoke detectors and devise an escape plan in the event of a blaze.
