Firefighters had a busy day yesterday after a number of incidents were reported.
Crews were called to a car crash on Douglas Street in Peel yesterday lunchtime and to a grass fire in Port Soderick shortly before 5.15pm, with crews spending an hour putting out the fire.
Rushen firefighters then attended another grass fire at 8.34pm at Mull Hill in Cregneash, spending two hours at the scene.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service is reminding the public to ensure cigarettes are fully extinguished and to avoid using disposable BBQ’s and making outdoor fires.
