Firefighters were called to tackle a fire at a flat in Douglas in the early hours of yesterday morning.
Teams were called to Drury Terrace at 1.20am - the blaze was confined to the kitchen and believed to have been started by burnt food.
The incident on the fourth floor of the building was contained and crews checked all occupants were out of the building.
The fire service says this is the second time in a week it's been called out over someone forgetting or being distracted whilst cooking.
