Fire crews were called out yesterday morning to a 'chemical incident'.
The fire alarm had sounded at an office in the Freeport in Ballasalla due to an uncontrolled release of fumes from an industrial process.
The fumes were contained to one room - the two members of staff affected were taken to hospital for a precautionary check over before being released shortly after.
Crews and a hazmat officer remained in attendance for three hours until air sampling of the affected area was completed.
