In the early hours of this morning fire crews were dispatched to a reported fire in an outbuilding shed in Jurby.
Two fire appliances were mobilised to the scene, upon arrival the first unit identified smoke issuing from the building.
The fire was identified and extinguished using two 45mm jets, and one high-pressure hose reel from both inside the structure and from the outside as it had broken through the roof of the shed.
Crews remained in attendance for another 2.5 hours whilst the building was ventilated and hot spots were checked for with thermal imaging cameras.
