Fire crews were called to the aid of a trapped horse this afternoon.
Shortly before 2pm, firefighters from Douglas were told Maggie the Horse had got stuck in a stream.
They spent an hour helping her with specially trained animal rescue technicians and a line rescue team as well as a vet.
She was helped out of the watercourse with lifting equipment and taken back to her stables.
