Fire crews from three fire stations responded to an incident in the North today.
The Isle of Man Fire and Rescue Service posted to Facebook to say teams from Ramsey, Kirk Michael and Douglas were called to a property billowing smoke in Ramsey this afternoon.
A passer by contacted the Emergency Services Joint Control Room to alert them of a smoke alarm sounding from the address.
Fire crews assisted one person out of the property - the Fire Service added that working smoke alarms save lives.
