Fire Safety Team Urge People to Keep Eye on Cooking Applicance
The public are being reminded by the Fire Service not to leave cooking appliances unattended when in use, following another close call in Ramsey.
Three fire engines attended a smoke logged property in Ramsey due to a grill pan fire.
Luckily they got there in good time and were able to extinguish the minor blaze before any real damage could be done.
Householders are also urged to ensure they have working fire alarms and routinely carry out checks on them.
