Firefighters were called to Onchan Raceway at the weekend to help a driver.
The Fire and Rescue Service says fire crews went to the racetrack on Saturday after a serious crash.
They helped cut a stock car driver out of their vehicle with the help of the raceway's own rescue team.
The driver was taken to hospital by ambulance.
