A woman from Ramsey who used her relative's disabled badge when parking her car has been fined.
34-year-old Hannah Gawne, of Queen's Pier Road, parked in a disabled space in the Station Road car park in the northern town on March 11th.
A traffic warden spotted the badge being displayed in her car - but on closer inspection saw it belonged to Gawne's aunt.
Admitting the offence via Coroner's Admission Gawne apologised for her error saying she was "under immense pressure" in the days leading up to the incident.
At Douglas Courthouse this week Magistrates fined her £50 and ordered her to pay court costs of £125.
