A man who was pava sprayed by police outside Douglas Courthouse after calling them "pigs" was back this week - when he appeared before Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes.
Ryan Mccurrie of Duke Street in Peel admitted using abusing or insulting words or behaviour following the incident on December 10.
The court heard the 20 year old became extremely aggressive when police officers spoke to him on Bucks Road in Douglas, and ran off before they caught up with him outside the courthouse building.
Mrs Hughes fined him £300 and ordered him to pay £125 costs - she also ordered him to pay £200 in outstanding fines by December 22.
