A Douglas man has been fined £600 after crashing into a parked car because he wasn't paying 'enough attention'.
26-year-old Conor Michael Bradley, of Bucks Road, hit the vehicle in the early hours of March 23rd last year.
He'd previously denied driving without due care and attention but changed his plea during an appearance at Douglas Courthouse on Tuesday.
Bradley struck the Renault Clio, which was parked on Hillary Park, between 12am and 12.30am - white plastic and part of his number plate was found at the scene.
His advocate told the court the Clio was parked facing the wrong direction, and on double yellow lines, adding: "That undoubtedly contributed to the accident taking place."
He said Bradley had left a note on the windscreen with his details but it had blown away adding: "Mr Bradley accepts he didn't pay enough attention."
Deputy High Bailiff Jayne Hughes ordered him to pay £300 in prosecution costs and endorsed his driving licence with three penalty points.
