Police stopped 30-year-old David Andrew Brookes, of Ashbourne Grove, on Gansey on October 20th.
Checks revealed his last provisional licence had expired in 2010 and the tax disc for the bike had expired in 2015.
Brookes admitted both offences via Coroner’s Admission at Douglas Courthouse last week.
Magistrates fined him £200 and ordered him to pay prosecution costs of £50.
