Find out about foster care today

There’s a chance to find out more about fostering a child on the Isle of Man today – for anyone who has ever thought about becoming a foster carer.

Fostering First staff will be on hand to give advice and answer any questions between 2pm and 7pm at St Paul’s Hall in Ramsey.

There are several types of fostering including short term, emergency and long term care for when a child is unable to return home.

Head of Fostering First, Fiona Lassen tells us what she believes makes a good candidate for the role:
