An owner of a Manx-based financial company says he'll stand against the leader of UKIP at the next election in the UK.
Aaron Banks owns almost a third of the Manx Financial Group, which includes Conister Bank, and is one of the party's biggest donors.
But in a political feud with its leader Douglas Carswell, Mr Banks has vowed to defeat the party's only MP in his Clacton constituency.
It's not clear whether Mr Banks would stand as a UKIP candidate or an independent.
@MarkReckless this Carswell tweet says it all. UKIP MP or not, I'll stand against him in Clacton next election! https://t.co/NjuTDITiBI
